DefenceScout – Security Analytics and Ticket Management Dashboard

DefenceScout is a web-based platform designed to support security operations through a centralized and data-driven interface. The application includes analytics dashboards, security ticket management, debugging tools, and system settings, helping teams manage operational workflows more efficiently.

My role in this project was focused on frontend development, with the goal of building a responsive, scalable, and user-friendly interface for a functionality-rich web application. The frontend was designed to handle data-heavy screens while maintaining clarity, usability, and consistent design.

Analytics Dashboard

DefenceScout includes interactive analytics dashboards that allow users to monitor key metrics, visualize trends, and gain operational insights through clear data presentation. Highcharts was used to build dynamic charts and graphical reports that make complex information easier to understand and act on.

Security Ticket Management

The platform provides interfaces for managing security tickets, enabling users to review, track, and handle reported issues in an organized way. This helps teams respond to incidents more efficiently and maintain visibility across ongoing operational tasks.

Data Handling and Tables

Since the application works with structured and potentially large sets of data, DataTables were used to create efficient and manageable table views. These tables support clear data presentation and improve the usability of record-based workflows across different sections of the platform.

Frontend Design and UI

Material UI was used to build a clean, modern, and consistent user interface. It helped create reusable components, responsive layouts, and a polished design system that supports both usability and maintainability throughout the application.
