Privacy Policy — Voxi
Last updated: 23 July 2026
This policy explains what Voxi collects, what it does not, and what control you have. It applies to the Voxi mobile app (com.ackbiz.voxi) on Android and iOS, published by ACKPlus Solutions Private Limited, Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
The short version
Your voice recordings never leave your device. Voxi records, processes and stores audio entirely on your phone. There is no server for audio, no account, and no upload. We cannot hear your recordings, and neither can anyone else.
We do collect anonymous crash and usage data, and we show ads. Both are described below, and both can be limited.
Audio and recordings
When you record, or import an audio file, Voxi applies the effect you chose using an audio engine that runs on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. The finished clip is saved in the app's private storage on your phone and stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app.
We never transmit, upload, sell, or train anything on your recordings.
The only time a clip leaves your device is when you tap Share and choose an app yourself. Voxi hands the file to the app you picked; from that point the receiving app's own privacy policy applies.
Microphone
Voxi asks for microphone access so it can record when you tap the record button. It does not listen in the background, and it does not access the microphone when the app is closed. If you decline, recording will not work, but nothing else in the app is affected. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features people use and to find and fix crashes.
This collects anonymous app-usage events such as which screens were opened and which effect was applied, along with your device model, operating system version, app version, coarse region, crash reports, and a random app-instance identifier.
It never collects your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or any audio. The app-instance identifier is random and is not linked to your real identity. Firebase is operated by Google, whose privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising
Voxi is free and supported by ads, served through Google AdMob with mediation by Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network.
Ad partners may collect an advertising identifier, device and operating system information, coarse region, and ad interaction events such as impressions and clicks. They never receive your recordings, your microphone, your files, or any personal identifier — because we do not collect any.
You have three ways to control this. On iOS, the first time Voxi requests an ad, the system asks whether to allow tracking; if you decline you still see ads, but they are non-personalised. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings, Google, Ads. On either platform, the one-time "Remove ads" purchase stops all ad requests entirely.
Our ad partners' policies are at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads, https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy, and https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.
Purchases
The "Remove ads" purchase is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card, bank or billing details. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase for this app succeeded.
When Voxi uses the internet
Every audio feature works fully offline. Voxi makes network requests only to check whether a newer version of the app exists, to fetch remote configuration such as whether ads are enabled, to load ads, and to send anonymous analytics and crash reports. None of these carry your audio.
Children
Voxi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
Because we hold no account and no personal identifier, there is usually nothing for us to look up. You can still delete everything by uninstalling the app, which removes all recordings with it. You can delete individual clips from the Library. You can turn off usage data in Settings, and limit ad tracking as described above.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal basis is legitimate interest for crash reporting and security, and consent for personalised advertising and analytics. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may raise any grievance with us using the contact details below. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top and show a notice inside the app. Continuing to use Voxi after a change means you accept the updated policy.
