ACKPlus Solutions Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us") built the Sudoku mobile application (the "App") as a free-to-play game supported by optional advertisements and in-app purchases. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and what choices you have.
By downloading or using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
ACKPlus Solutions Private Limited is the developer and publisher of this App. Our registered address is B-216 R.K Iconic, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at contact@ackplus.com.
2. Information We Collect
Automatically collected device and usage data
When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically by the App and by the third-party services it integrates with. This includes your device model, operating system version, a unique device identifier, your IP address (from which a general geographic region can be inferred), the App version you are running, crash logs, and in-app behaviour such as which game modes you play and how long sessions last.
Advertising identifiers
On Android devices, the App may access the Google Advertising ID (GAID). On iOS devices, the App asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). If you decline, only non-personalised advertising is shown and no tracking identifier is used.
Account information
Signing in to the App is optional and unlocks features such as leaderboards and cloud sync. If you choose to sign in, we collect your email address and use it solely to identify your account. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment details.
Game progress and settings
Game progress, statistics, difficulty preferences, and theme settings are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in, your leaderboard scores and game history are also stored in our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) so they persist across devices.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to deliver and operate the App and its features, to show advertisements (personalised or non-personalised depending on your consent), to measure advertisement performance and detect invalid traffic, to diagnose crashes and fix bugs, to analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the game, and to respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services that collect and process data under their own privacy policies. The services we use and what each one does are described below.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements and rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data in order to serve advertisements and measure their effectiveness. On iOS, AdMob accesses the IDFA only if you grant permission through the ATT prompt. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, AdMob requests your consent through a Google-managed consent form before serving personalised ads.
Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Information about how Google uses data in its advertising products is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how the App is used in aggregate. Analytics data is anonymised and used only to improve the App. No data shared with Firebase Analytics is used to identify you as an individual.
Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically capture crash reports. Reports include device model, operating system version, and the state of the App at the moment it crashed. We do not intentionally include any personally identifiable information in crash reports.
Firebase Authentication and Firestore
If you choose to sign in, Firebase Authentication manages your credentials and Firebase Firestore stores your account data. Both services are provided by Google LLC and governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In
The App offers sign-in via Google and Apple as alternatives to email. If you use one of these providers, the respective company authenticates you and shares your email address with us. We do not receive your password.
In-App Purchases (Google Play and Apple App Store)
Purchases within the App are processed entirely by Google or Apple through their respective app store payment systems. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card or billing information.
5. Advertising and Your Choices
iOS
The first time you launch the App, you will see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you tap "Allow", AdMob may use your IDFA to show you advertisements that are more relevant to your interests. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track", only non-personalised advertisements are shown. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android — EEA and UK users
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a consent form appears when you first open the App. You can choose whether to allow personalised advertising. You can update your choice by going to Settings → Privacy in the App at any time.
Opting out of personalised advertising globally
You can opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting https://adssettings.google.com, by resetting your advertising identifier in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Advertising on iOS, or Settings → Google → Ads on Android), or by toggling "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" in your device's advertising settings.
Removing all advertisements
You can purchase the "Remove Ads" option inside the App. Once purchased, no advertisements of any kind are shown and no advertising identifiers are accessed for ad-delivery purposes.
6. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App's ad content is restricted to General (G-rated) creatives and child-directed ad settings are not enabled. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at contact@ackplus.com and we will delete it promptly.
7. Data Retention
Local game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Account data stored in our cloud database is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data by using the "Delete Account" option in the App's Settings screen or by emailing contact@ackplus.com. Advertising and analytics data is retained according to the retention policies of Google AdMob and Firebase respectively.
8. Your Privacy Rights
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the right under the GDPR to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, to withdraw consent to data processing at any time, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@ackplus.com.
California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Links and Third-Party Content
Advertisements displayed in the App may contain links to third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any external site or service you visit.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes we will also post a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or about how your data is handled, please contact us.
