Privacy Policy — BlockBaaz
Effective date: 08 May 2026
1. Who we are
BlockBaaz (the "Game") is published by ackbiz ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at chetan@ackplus.com.
This policy explains what information the Game does and does not collect when you play, how that information is used, and the rights you have over it.
2. The short version
We don't ask for your name, your email, your phone number, your location, or any other personally identifying information. There is no sign-up, no account, and no login. Your scores, streaks, coins, and power-ups live on your device and travel with it.
The only third party that may collect any data from the Game is Google AdMob, and only when you voluntarily tap a "Watch Ad" button. AdMob may use your advertising identifier and basic device information to serve and measure the ad. You can reset that advertising identifier or opt out at any time through your device settings.
3. What we collect (and what we don't)
Information we DO NOT collect
- Your real name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
- Your photos, contacts, calendar, microphone, camera, files, or precise location.
- Your social media accounts.
- Any payment or financial information (the Game is free to play with no in-app purchases).
- Health, biometric, or other sensitive data.
Information stored only on your device (never sent to us)
- Game progress: high scores, daily-challenge attempts, current streak, weekly goals.
- Inventory: how many of each power-up you own.
- Settings: sound on/off, vibration on/off, language, colourblind palette.
- Preferences such as which themes you've unlocked.
This data is held in your device's secure local storage. If you uninstall the Game, this data is removed. We never receive it.
Information collected by Google AdMob (when you watch a rewarded ad)
When — and only when — you choose to watch a rewarded ad in the Game, Google AdMob may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS).
- Approximate location information derived from IP address.
- Basic device and OS metadata (device model, OS version, app version, network type).
- Whether you completed the ad.
This data is processed by Google according to the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob policies. We do not have direct access to it.
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AdMob and personalised ads: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Privacy & Terms (consumer-facing): https://policies.google.com/privacy
Crash logs
We use the platform default crash reporting that Google Play and Apple App Store provide to developers. These reports help us fix bugs. They include device model, OS version, app version, and a stack trace; they do not contain your gameplay data, photos, or personal information. Aggregated reports appear in Play Console and App Store Connect for our team only.
4. How we use the limited information we receive
InformationPurposeLawful basis
Crash reports
Diagnose and fix bugs
Legitimate interest
Local game-state on your device
Provide the Game's core functionality
Performance of the agreement (you using the Game)
AdMob ad-serving data
Serve rewarded ads you opted into
Your consent (the ad opt-in)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone other than the third parties named in this policy, and even then only as strictly required to deliver the service you've asked for (e.g. an opt-in ad).
5. Children's privacy
The Game is rated suitable for users aged 13 and over (and rated "Everyone (3+)" on Google Play under IARC). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not direct any of our advertising mediation or measurement at children. If you believe a child has played the Game and that we hold information about them, please contact us at chetan@ackplus.com and we will work with the relevant ad partner to delete the information.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information held about you;
- correct or update inaccurate personal information;
- delete your personal information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent (for example, by stopping watching ads);
- complain to your local data-protection authority.
Because we do not collect personal information ourselves, most of these rights are best exercised by:
- Controlling your advertising identifier through your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on iOS; Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android). You can reset it or opt out of personalised ads at any time.
- Uninstalling the Game, which removes all locally-stored data.
- Contacting Google AdMob directly about ad-ID-linked data: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
If you need our help — for example to confirm that we hold no records about you, or to ask AdMob to delete advertising-identifier data on your behalf — write to chetan@ackplus.com with the subject line "BlockBaaz — privacy request" and we will respond within fifteen (15) business days.
7. Data retention
- Local data on your device stays until you delete the Game.
- Crash reports are retained according to Google Play / Apple policies, typically 90–180 days.
- AdMob data is retained according to Google's documented retention windows: see the AdMob privacy page.
8. International transfers
We are based in India. Google AdMob processes data in regions and data centres of its choosing (typically the United States and the European Union). Where data is transferred internationally, the relevant party (Google) provides safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we handle. Specifically:
- network requests for advertisements are made over HTTPS;
- the Game does not maintain any server-side database that holds personal information about you;
- crash logs are kept in the platform vendors' secure systems (Google / Apple).
No method of transmission over the internet, however, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that involves new data, or if a regulator clarifies what we need to disclose. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top, and if the changes are material we will post a notice inside the Game. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the new policy.
